At the Airport

I'm sitting here at the airport, and I'm surprised at myself. Here I am, about to embark on the journey I've waited for since Mrs. Tillotson's 7th grade World History, and I feel...nothing. I'm completely emotionless. I'm not excited, or terrified, worried or anything. I think I'm in a state of 4-am-shock. Haha, meaning, once I get on the plane, I'm sure it'll hit me. If not then, certainly when I'm in Seoul or Japan. At some point I'll realize that I'm no longer in America.

The currency exchange here is ridiculous! They wouldn't let me exchange in anything but intervals of ¥10,000 and, as a result, I lost out on $13!!! combined with the $9.50 fee, that's $22.50 that I lost out on!
ヽ(`Д´)ノ So annoyed!! (If I had gone to BoA, I would've saved $15.50 >< ) Now I know...but at a price...*siiiiiiiigh*

Onto other news-children are so cute!! Haha, as I'm sitting here, one little girl and her mother were going back and forth on the moving walkways, as the rest of her family watched. At the same time, a little boy was standing at the glass window-walls (not quite walls, yet not quite windows) and excitedly pointing out the planes landing on the runway. And yet another little girl was skipping hurriedly to catch up to the man walking a bit ahead of her-wearing a bright pink mini backpack and glancing back with a smile. Travel and children are normally an annoying combo, from what I gather, and yet none of those parents were acting irritated or annoyed-even the ones coming from the arrival area.

Anyway, I'm done with this blog~ I'll Tweet (and maybe FB) right before I leave, so be on the look out for it! I also hope to find internet to update when I get to Japan to update when I'm there, but I might not be able to at first... >< I'll do my best!!

You can enjoy those differences and somehow adjust to our culture naturally.Anyway, have fun in Japan^^ I'm excited to know your discoveries in Japan^^
